A little bit of fantasy

 Fantasy Faire is in full swing, but hurry because it ends this week and there are some amazing things available, that your sales help to contribute to the American Cancer Society's mission to rid the world of cancer forever. Now in its 13th year, Relay for Life's Fantasy Faire is one of the biggest fundraising events globally and last year's Fantasy Faire ranked 24th out of 40,000 Relay for Life events worldwide in terms of money raised. In addition, Relay for Life in Second Life was the 5th highest RFL fundraising community event worldwide! As well as this, the ACS maintains a presence within SL providing services via inworld information portals, cancer survivor support groups and cancer care giver support groups at their inworld location here.

This absolutely gorgeous cottage is Dragon Magick Wares' Fantasy Faire exclusive. It is beautifully textured, inside and out and has 2 floors, with a large living area downstairs and a smaller attic area upstairs. And at 48 prims it will fit on even the smallest plot.

         I'm not very confident with Fantasy style shoots, don't get me wrong, I LOVE the theme, I just worry I don't do it very well, but I like to think the quality and variety of the featured items speak for themselves. And with 17 different regions featuring 200 of the best fantasy creators in SL, there is bound to be something that catches your eye!

Fantasy Faire: My Last Look

So I hadn't meant to do another FF post since I have so many other things to be blogging right now, lol. But I loved this dress by sakide SOOOOO much that I just had to take more pictures of it. And yes, its the same dress as I was wearing in my last post, just in a different colour and accessorised differently, complete with my very own dragon!!

My New Shiny

I don't often 'do' Fantasy, although it is a genre I enjoy I don't feel its a genre I'm particularly good at portraying, however I always like a challenge and to try new things, so when Fantasy Faire rolled around this time and announced their blogger challenges, i knew that i wanted to do at least one of them if I could. So here, is 'My New Shiny'. The challenge was simply to find something you like for a store previously unknown to yourself and blog it. For this challenge, I chose to buy the gorgeous and beautifully crafted Sumiana crown by a i s l i n g. a i s l i n g is a store that I have never come across in my SL travels before, however when it came to finding something dramatic and in theme with my overall look for this blog post, the Sumiana crown was perfect. I was almost tempted to cover myself in bruises and blood, but decided to opt for a 'clean' look this time!

Worn with this gorgeous crown is the equally stunning Maestitia gown by sakide, which is one of their RFL donation items at the event, make-up from pin me down and the necklace from LNS.

Horror Haute: April

Oh wow, its that time of the month again when some of my favourite designers pu out their creepy, macabre goodies for Horror Haute. And this month's round is *full* of win!! I almsot didn't know where to start, but I had to start somewhere. So let's begin...

First off is this sexy lil cropped top from immateria - that comes attached to the creepy-cute face-mask you see I am also wearing. This top and mask ensemble is called 'Monster Within', which I think is perfectly apt for my avatar, as she is quite often the SL representation of the Monster Within my RL self.

For some reason, this look screamed cyber-goth to me, lol, so here I am wearing with it some of my favourite recent releases from Corvus and Sakide, as well as another item from this month's Horror Haute- the undies and suspenders from Draconic Kiss.
