 Hey gothlings, many of you will know by now that the SL alternative icon that is Sn@tch is back! For many of us, Sn@tch was the first -and best- alternative clothing store we ever needed. And I am super happy and excited to have been accepted onto their blogging team! So, without further ado, let me show you this beautiful dress/ romper that is currently available in one of the Riot Vendors. Do you remember those crazy hazy days, before social disctancing was a thing and you could grab 50 of your closest friends to rub up on the vendors to make the price hit rockbottom? Wear your colours with Pride!

 

Hey gothlings, I guess this post is more for the 'pastel-goths' out there, but as its Pride month, you get a Pride post, so shut up and wear your rainbows with pride lol. OK, thats my preachy bit done hehe. I've long stood under the 'q' for someone who is questioing their sexuality and have previously thought of myself to be bisexual, but am currently back to being 'questioning' and an ally for anyone who stands under the rainbow. I'm actually OK with not picking and adopting any particular label. I am who I am and I dont need a label that tells me who I am. A friend recently said I could be agender, non-binary or gender non-conforming. Maybe, I never did like to conform to anyones expectations of me, lol. At least in SL I can be who I want to be and not be questioned or judged for it.

Well I clearly started this post last week, but then things got busy here in RL due to my country returning to full lockdown again :/ so I didnt have time to post. Just a flesh wound!

 So after a hard day fighting off hordes of the undead rampaging through Pumpkin Town, Millie arrived at the local medical centre for supplies. She had taken a beating during the battle with the undead and had lost her partner as a result. He had gotten bitten during the chaos. So after they had managed to get far enough away, she sat with him, his head in her lap until she knew he was gone and finally delivered mercy by a direct gunshot to his temple.

Although covered in blood from head to toe, Millie said to herself it wasn't her blood... mostly. Until she started feeling sick....

Lil ol'd Millie was dressing herself up as if to get ready for a night out. Always Be Kind

Welcome back gothlings. This is a super duper quick post in relation to the heinous incident that happened over in the USA, and that off course was the absolute abuse of power that resulted in the tragic and very public murder of  George Floyd, an unarmed black man who was held prone for 10 minutes with the weight of 4 police officers on him and one in particular who had his knee on the back of his neck, who purposefully and willfully held him down until Floyd died, in an absolutely barbaric display of police brutality. I'm never sure how to feel about commenting on such public RL incidents within this SL blog, however I just want to take this time to say that as a white, British woman I stand with all people of colour and I'm watching the news over here shocked at the level of persecution these people STILL live through in this day and age when racism should be no more. We all bleed the same colour and breath the same air. We all feel love, happiness, dismay and giref the same way. We are one race!

In the USA and worldwide there have been mass protests in support of people of colour. Show your support to this cause by heading down to Petite Mort and snatching up this beautiful t-shirt and wall tapestry.

Everything is cancelled

Hello again my gothlings! My latest post is inspired by the ongoing Coronavirus crisis that we are all experiencing still. Hope you all are managing to stay as safe as possible through all this!Anyway, so this weekend I decided to get all dressed up for a Saturday night party, but then you know what? It was cancelled, because everything is cancelled right now! Hope you like my outfit anyway!

Stay the f*ck home

Hello again my gothlings. No doubt by now you will all be well aware of the current Coronavirus global pandemic. It is truly a frightening time to be alive. As a keyworker, I am still currently in work, however my daughter has a chest infection, so we are self isolating, just n case. Pretty sure it is nothing, because we get them all the time being asthmatic and all. I've read loads of negative comments online about blogging this situation. But, as they safe, art imitates life, or the other way around! Anyways, I'm glad that in SL at least, I can find toilet paper and face masks! And without having to queue for miles to get in the store! So here's my lil post. And please, unless it is absolutely essential, stay the f*ck at home and help protect all of us from this nasty virus!

I had to slightly update this post as a dear friend of mine made these gorgeous 
prints inspired by the find the rainbow movement that is currently taking the UK by storm. People everywhere are filling their windows with pictures of rainbows to try and bring a smile to everyone during these difficult times, both to keyworker's keeping the country safe and also to give children something to look for on their permitted outings for daily exercise with their families. These pictures were actually hand-drawn by the creators' RL daughter and brought into SL, and are available for free on Marketplace. #findtherainbow #savelives #protecttheNHS

Fantasy Faire: My Last Look

Good form Gothmas...

well time is indeed running out for Gothmas, but I still have a couple of things I want to show, so without further delay, here's the absolutely gorgeous Ginny outfit from The Little Bat, which is currently available at Gothmas. It is available in various colours, but I loved the serene look of the 'sky' version, I steampunked it up (just a little) with some gorgeous boots from Eudora 3D, and the steampunk-esq gun, and poses, from flash friendly poses - which are also available at Gothmas. The skin I'm wearing is still the gorgeous group gift skin from Glam Affair (I havent found anything else I like enough to make me want to take this off yet!!!), so make sure you grab that while its' still available. Woefully Cute

Woeful Wednesdays had some really cute things on offer this week again, I do apologise that, as always, I did not manage to get this up on Wednesday but if you like what you see, make sure to head down to the WW HQ and slap the subscriber there to be notified of future WW offers.

The beautiful skin and lipstick I am wearing here are both new releases from Aeva. In case you haven't already heard, Aeva is at risk of closing indefinitely because the store owner, Amesha Jewells' computer has died, so she is paying her tier on her parent's computer, but is unable to work on new releases until she can replace/ fix her computer, so this skin release is likely to be the last for a while. That is, unless we can all help and support her by going down to the store and buying stuff! If you would like to help further, Tabitha Faith and Feather Fallen are going to be holding a fundraiser with the majority of the proceeds going to Amesha to help get her a new computer. This is going to be held from May 1st-May 14th. if you are a designer and wish to get involved to support this cause, contact Tabitha or Feather inworld for more info.
