I'm baaaaaaack!!!

After what seems like a reaaaaalllly long break, due to RL, I am back!! Got a new computer system today, which takes better SL pictures than the one I had borrowed temporarily, but still not as good as I'm used to. Still, I think, for now, they will do, and I will save up/ look into getting a new graphics card as soon as funds are available :) Thank you to everyone for your patience, both readers and sponsors alike. Zombie Burlesque

You remember I told you there were soooo many awesome things in this round of Horror Haute, well heres my second post featuring the amazing zombie burlesque dress from bad juju, which I absolutely LOVE! I have accessorised this look with a few simple pieces that I love... the hair-pin from bubble, ear plugs by nox and my favourite nommy by forsaken. Tentacle Twinnies!!

 In another episode of the ongoing tentacle saga Allegory Mallaprop released some amazing tentacle vests for Fifty Linden Friday this week, featuring the original tentacle artwork of Hyasinth Tiramisu of silent sparrow, which made me and my sweet friend Sephy squeal with delight- we HAD to have them!! So, buy them we did, and we dressed them up with octopus (octopi?) panties from schadenfreude and tentacle nail appliers from The Stringer Mauseleum. We then went to Sephys' home to hang out and play with her tentacles.

Memento Mori at Woeful Wednesday

Hi dolls, this is just a quickie post since I am having to borrow my brother-in-laws computer this morning before work :/ Anyway, Memento Mori have an amazing new range of shoes out for Woeful Wednesday today, which I absolutely adore!! These boots are available in six different textures; and in clean and bloody versions- perfect for the dead doll in me!  I am wearing the 'I once had dreams' boot in bloody (off course!). And for today only, they are just L$50 each!! (usual price is L$99), so get down there and grab em while you can!

The hair I'm wearing is from a new-to-me store, taketomi, and is currently available at the Chapter Four event, which is also new to me. Horror Haute meets Flux

oh man, I have had such a major case of bloggers' block this week, I think its because in RL I am working nights right now, which has zapped all my mojo. :(

The outfit I am wearing was largely inspired by the amazing Memento Mori boots, which will be available at the upcoming Flux event opening on 4th July- tap the subscribo over at Memento Mori to be informed of such events. I very nearly did a naked "boots-only" post, until I saw these gorgeous blood-spattered shorts that were available during this month's Horror Haute event. I already had the top and skin from a previous week's Woeful Wednesday, which had been sitting in my inventory waiting for me to come up with a look that would really showcase them. And so the look came together, and an idea formed on how I wanted to shoot it. However, I simply could NOT find a location that would fit the idea that I had in my head. Until today, as I was chatting to my blogger friend Rudhmellowen, and all of a sudden I had a burst of inspiration and remembered the Tableau Vivant sim, which was perfect!!

Woefully Cute

Woeful Wednesdays had some really cute things on offer this week again, I do apologise that, as always, I did not manage to get this up on Wednesday but if you like what you see, make sure to head down to the WW HQ and slap the subscriber there to be notified of future WW offers.

The beautiful skin and lipstick I am wearing here are both new releases from Aeva. In case you haven't already heard, Aeva is at risk of closing indefinitely because the store owner, Amesha Jewells' computer has died, so she is paying her tier on her parent's computer, but is unable to work on new releases until she can replace/ fix her computer, so this skin release is likely to be the last for a while. That is, unless we can all help and support her by going down to the store and buying stuff! If you would like to help further, Tabitha Faith and Feather Fallen are going to be holding a fundraiser with the majority of the proceeds going to Amesha to help get her a new computer. This is going to be held from May 1st-May 14th. if you are a designer and wish to get involved to support this cause, contact Tabitha or Feather inworld for more info.

Tainted Wedding

Tainted Horror

Hi dolls! I mean to do this post in the middle of last week, but then I had majooooor problems with SL where I couldn't rezz/ see mesh, then I couldn't tp anywhere, and then I couldn't stay logged in for longer than a few seconds at a time, ugggg. Anyways, I *finally* seem to have got things sorted out again, so here's the post I intended to do then.

Here's another Horror Haute post, which I've I combined with some of the hunt gifts from the Tainted Love Hunt, which is brought to you by the ghoulishly-brilliant minds behind Woeful Wednesday. The hunt started just this week, and runs til the 28th February, there are some truly amazing gifts with a macabre twist to find, so do not miss out on this!

One Valentine's Night, Millie was waiting for her lover to arrive. This was their first anniversary, and they had planned a very special evening in celebration. She wore her new lingerie from, and brushed her hair til it shone, waiting for him.

She grew bored, and paced around the room. He was late.

Little did she realise that her lover was not one for celebrations. He had something else in mind. When he finally arrived, he asked Millie to lie on the bed and to close her eyes while he lay down on the bed beside her. He gently stroked her cheek, then pulled out a dagger from his boot and plunged it into her heart!

The skybox used in these photos, is the Tainted Love hunt gift from Dragon Magick Wares, and the bed is the Tainted Love hut gift from Stone Misery. It has both single and couples animations (unfortunately I had no male volunteers to play the part of Millies' murderous lover so I have not shown any of the couple poses), and also gives out the cuffs, which create chains in certain poses, effectively chaining the wearer to the bed!). Woeful Sunday...

Eyeless

So I finally got round to starting Sn@tchs' Resting Place this week. If you haven't already heard about this, it is the annual halloween/horror game that is presented to you by the amazingly talented minds behind Snatch, Pulse, Forsaken... and an absolute MUST to do while you still have time- it ends on the 18th November. It is both visually stunning and audibly unsettling, and if you're a dead doll like me, its perfect! Go and immerse yourself in the creepy nightmares of the victims? in this game. I have not finished yet, so I am merely speculating what the outcome will be, haha. There are tasks and puzzles to complete along the way, but there's also lots of hidden gifts en route provided by such designers as sn@tch, blue blood, sakide, A&A, somnia. The list goes on... Woefully Late...

Heyas dolls, I just wanted to show you some of the cute bargains that were available in this weeks' Woeful Wednesday, unfortunately due to rl work I am late in posting this, and I can only apologise if they are no longer set for sale for L$50, but if something really catches your eye and it is back to normal price, why not treat yourself and get it anyway? :) Some of the other items shown in this I have already blogged, but they are, obv, some of my favourites cus I am still wearing them!

Horror Haute meets Woeful Wednesday!

Sorry for the delay in me getting this post out for you guys, I meant to get it finished yesterday, but we were so busy here with our Halloween celebrations that I just did not have the time. Anyway, the main point of this post is to announce that Woeful Wednesday is BACK!!!! That's right, the weekly discount event for the goth/ alternative community has returned! And this time it's in the very capable hands of Snow Sweetwater, Samantha Zwickel and Taydra Zsun, so expect big things to happen! Make sure you hit the WW subscriber to get updates/ announcements for next weeks round. Still ongoing is this month's Horror Haute, still lots of awesome reduced goodies to get your hands on before they return to full price on 2nd November.

I simply loved this 'Suicide Bath' from Snow Bound for WW that I had to get it, it comes with 11 poses, some couples and others single poses. You can also change the bathwater to bloody, clean, or empty. The skin is Gothic0's offering for Horror Haute, the blood layer is not part of the skin, it's one of the tattoo layers included in Nomine's HUGEEEEE Halloween subscribo gift, if you are lucky it will still be available! Unfortunately, in this photo, you can't see the face detail very well, so here's a clean shot where you can see it's gorgeous Dia de Meurtos facepaint (this is ON the skin, not a tattoo).

Also worn are eyes from Nomine's Halloween subscribo gift, the gorgeous 'This is Halloween' ring from Hysteria and sugars' Queen of Heart's lingerie set.
