I'm baaaaaaack!!!

After what seems like a reaaaaalllly long break, due to RL, I am back!! Got a new computer system today, which takes better SL pictures than the one I had borrowed temporarily, but still not as good as I'm used to. Still, I think, for now, they will do, and I will save up/ look into getting a new graphics card as soon as funds are available :) Thank you to everyone for your patience, both readers and sponsors alike. Here's my first post, just to say 'hiiii', I don't think theres anything particularly new in this (other than the hair and skin), but I wanted to start with a cute look from my inventory, and as its Delirium Sols' (Dizzy Kit from DRBC) rezz day tomorrow, I figured I'd show you one of my favourite outfits from her! Zombie Beach Story

So I'm sorry I've been quiet for a while, I just haven't had the motivation to log into SL since going to Download Festival, I had such an amazing time there with my friends, I've been suffering post-Download blues I guess, lol. Anyways I'm back now. Dunno quite how long for. Got some RL drama going on right now. Pretty big stuff tbh, and major life changes might be happening shortly, which is kinda terrifying, but also exciting. Anyways, if these things do happen, then I will be away from SL, blogging anyway, for a while :/. So enjoy this while you can!

Skulltastic!

I've been struggling to get inspired lately, but DRBC - Death Rock Betty Crocker, has done it again with these gorgeous new phaedre dresses. These come in various different textures, but I wanted to show you the skull one as it went well with the skully make-up from redrum. I have completed the look with a few simple accessories, including these gorgeous new cuffs from bubble, which are available at Krave inc - a new monthly gacha event, until April 30th, and my new favourite ring from Bad Juju, which was a gacha item at the recent Escape event, but should now be available in the store.

I was a teenage vampire....

So I tried on this adorable dress from DRBC over the weekend, and immediately visions of High School, USA style, came to mind. This was probably due to the obscene amount of The Vampire Diaries I have been watching lately, lol. To colour or not?

So Death Rocker Betty Crocker recently released some gorgeous and fun dresses that I wanted to share with you. These are the boheme tunics, they are available in various different textures, but one of my favourites is the Hot Lips version. I love its bright, kitsch textures and it just screamed at me to blog it. But, I asked myself how and in what context should I blog it? So, struggling for ideas, I forgot about it for a while and decided to work on Berry's recent Monday meme of 'black & white portraits'. Now, ordinarily, a black and white photo reminds me of the classic 1920's era, and I really thought I was going to do something along those lines, when... bam! I decided why not use the dress that I had already shot? And here it is..

Millie of the Future....

So, a lil while ago, DRBC's Dizzy Delirum made these amazing boots!!! Which I just HAD to have. But, in order to show them to you, I had to have the RIGHT outfit to go with them. Then I remembered an old Blue Blood release, tried them on together and, well you can see for yourself how that turned out :)


2355. Earth Colony 316.

It was gonna be a busy day, the Space Intelligence Agency had received civilian reports of illegal aliens being spotted in the space station. All aliens had been outlawed in the colonies for 100 years, since the Alien Wars, when the then naturalized aliens had conspired with their homelands towards the attempted total destruction of human life, throughout the colonies.My job today as a Cyber Law Enforcement Officer, was to investigate these claims, then find and apprehend any aliens I found. I jumped into my Space Ranger and flew to the Civilian Zone, and began.

After asking around the local taxi-port, I was informed that there was unusual out-of-hours activity going on in one of the android repair shops, so I decided to stake it out.

My stake-out proved fruitless, there was nothing suspicious going on there at all, just work being carried out on the new Cyber Police Droid, whose imminent introduction was apparently going to reduce this kind of leg-work for the Cyber Law Enforcement Agency. It had been an exhasuting and frustrating morning, and I was hungry, so I decided to grab a quick bite to eat at the civilian Sushi Bar. As I came out, I thought I heard the all too familiar 'click-click' sounds of the aliens, I quickly un-holstered my gun and spun round to check it out. But it turned out just to be kids messing about.

Finally, after finding nothing, but a handful of paranoid civilians who were convinced that the 'aliens were coming', I went back to Quarters for some down-time.
