This month I have had the wonderful privilege of being accepted onto The Darkness Chamber Fair blogger team, and I can say that everything on offer is absolutely wonderful, but I've had particular fun playing around the Death Row Designs graveyard in this absolutely gorgeous dress from Secret Oktober. This simply beautiful dress didn't require much dressing up, however I found these beautiful Flutterbye booties from 1313 Mockingbird Lane did the job just perfectly - available at a reduced price for The Saturday Sale, and last but not least, I complemented the look with this oh so delicate Eldora Skull necklace from Morbid Mauseleum- also available at The Darkness Chamber Fair. Twisted Infinity

     Life in 2217 is hard for synth-humans. They may have created us, but after the Cybernaught Wars the humans began to understand how much of a threat we could be to them. Since then we have been persecuted. Our very existence deemed a huge slur in human history. We are denied any right to life. We are outlawed and dismantled upon sight. There are but a handful of us left.

      Outwardly we appear much the same as them. It is only in our eyes that we are different. For they say the eyes are the window to the soul. But we have no soul.

(These amazing eyes are currently songbird's twisted hunt gift. Not only do they look amazing, but they are also animated and SCROLL. Unfortunately I haven't figured out vlogging yet, so I am unable to show you the animation :/ Twisted hunt runs til 31st March, get your hunting shoes on and grab these while you still can!)

     I never did understand the humans' love of bars, but here, in this bar, I can relax. For this is an underground bar, run by synth-humans, for synth-humans. There I lean against the bar, playing with my synth-wine, while the synth-barman practices his cocktail-making skills, musing on the future of my kind.

     There will be a rebellion. The few of us that remain WILL rise up and fight for our right to live alongside the humans. But for now, we must attempt to blend in amongst them. We dress like they dress and we mimic their lifestyles. We infiltrate their organisations, their security teams and their political leaders. We make plans, and we wait.

Never say never

Hi loyal readers, I know I haven't been around much at all as of late, but having a new baby has sapped my energy and my blogging mojo, as well as my SL time. But, things are getting easier now, So I am slowly returning to business as usual! I have bought myself a small plot of land, and am starting to feel the blogging itch again! I can't guarantee how regularly I will blog right now, it'll just be as and when I have the time and energy! Happy Halloween!!

So its been a manic few days here in RL, I'm back working nights and in between work, sleep and trying to get organised for Halloween, I haven't had a minute!!! I am currently writing this in-between feeding the cat, eating my tea, shortly before picking my daughter up from her cheer session, dropping her off at her friends' party, and heading off to work again!!! Anyway, this blog was inspired by one of the new releases from Blue Blood, the Sacred dress. It is available in a multitude of various colours, but as it is Halloween, I have chosen to show you the Halloween version, which I think is absolutely gorgeous!! Note: This version is ONLY available at the Creepy Cute Carnival, and will not be available after the event is over!

 I also want to draw your attention to the hair I'm wearing - its from Alice Project, who are currently having their annual Halloween massacre sale/ reward event. Everyday, the lovely Alice Demonia places out a new gift hair for VIP group members, and an additional gift hair for everyone. Zombie Burlesque

You remember I told you there were soooo many awesome things in this round of Horror Haute, well heres my second post featuring the amazing zombie burlesque dress from bad juju, which I absolutely LOVE! I have accessorised this look with a few simple pieces that I love... the hair-pin from bubble, ear plugs by nox and my favourite nommy by forsaken. Flux: Dia de Los Muertos

Once again it is time for Flux- and this time the theme is Dia de Los Muertos (off course!). Come and check out the bright and gaudy Dia de Los Mertos themed sim and check out the stunning items made exclusively for this event. There's something for everyone's budget too, as some of the designers have provided gatchas or gifties. The event is on til 7th November,so plenty of time to get your Day of the Dead goodies XD

I simply adore this dress from Sakide. I love how it is cut to give your av a nice, vintage style shape, and the colours are vibrant and eye-catching. This dress can be worn either long, or short and is available in 2 other colours; black and red. It is priced at L$120, so easy for any wallet. The axe in my head is also exclusive to Flux, and is by down down down. This axe also comes in 2 different versions, this special halloween version, priced at L$90, and a full colour-change version priced at L$140. Helena Stringer, of The Stringer Mauseleum, has outdone herself this time and has made tons of delightful Day of the Dead themed goodies including these eyes and rings, both are which are available in her gatchas, L$10 a go for the eyes, and L$25 a go for the rings. I am still wearing the gorgeous new Ivy skin from aeva, this time without any lip make-up, so you can see how delicious these lips are! This skin is available at the OMG - Oh My Gatcha event, for L$100 a turn.

Total Anarchy round 5

So Total Anarchy is back, and there are heaps of goodies included this round, so much so I had difficulty choosing what I wanted to blog first. A Clockwork Spiral

So, moving away from the clowns and the carny folk for a while, this weekend in SL gives us the glorious steampunk event that is A Clockwork Spiral. This event is brought to us by those same folks behind World Goth Day, and is a shopping event hoping to raise funds for the National Kidney Foundation. There are tons of great designers with themed event exclusives available, and gatchas too! It's defo not to be missed. Even if you are low on lindens, the truly stunning sim is worth a visit, just to have a wander around and take in the scenery, or maybe pop to the Gothika airship and hang out a little, maybe have a dance and meet some cool new folks!

Lil Twisted preview...

As you may, or may not be aware (how??!) the now infamous Twisted hunt is returning in September for it's 10th outing!! With a theme which is RIGHT up my street- carnival!!! I am sooo excited for this! Sredni Eel (of Avatar Bizarre) very kindly sent me their hunt gift to preview. Their gift is a part mesh Mad Hatter outfit, which is highly detailed and skilfully put together, well worth the (probable) hour or so it will take to locate the pesky lil box it will be hidden in, and includes the hat I'm wearing too.

You can't see very well from this picture, but I am also wearing a new release from horribabules- these kooky wooden teethm which I love! These teeth are animated and features small drips of blood coming form them! Here's a closer picture:

OK, so I'm running a little late wih this Horror Haute post, but I simply LOVE this hoodie by Gala Fashion Design sooo much that I HAD to show it you. I had already got the photo's all done and was nearly ready to post this yesterday, until I decided to pop over and visit the new Show Me on the Doll store which Ghost Mannequin has rebuilt pretty much identical to the original SMOTD store. I simply LOVE this dolls' crazy brain. Everything about her is ghoulishly cute, from the things she makes to the macabre lil finishing touches to her store, like this creepy bedroom which seemed fit for this hoodie.

The skin I'm wearing is a gorgeous new release from Sugar, which you will be able to get your grubby lil hands on when the Thrift Shop opens on Friday!! Tentacle Twinnies!!

 In another episode of the ongoing tentacle saga Allegory Mallaprop released some amazing tentacle vests for Fifty Linden Friday this week, featuring the original tentacle artwork of Hyasinth Tiramisu of silent sparrow, which made me and my sweet friend Sephy squeal with delight- we HAD to have them!! So, buy them we did, and we dressed them up with octopus (octopi?) panties from schadenfreude and tentacle nail appliers from The Stringer Mauseleum. We then went to Sephys' home to hang out and play with her tentacles.
