Ice Bucket Challenge!

So, as you are surely aware, the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has been taking social media by storm, and if you haven't done it by now, you surely at least KNOW someone who has! I have been nominated to so this challenge, both in RL, and now in SL, by my dear friend Rudhmellowen! I haven't managed to do it in RL yet, as I haven't been feeling well and didn't fancy the idea of making it worse by dumping a bucketful of freezing cold water over my head, lol. Anyways, I have accepted Rudh's SL challenge instead, although Millie wasn't too happy about it!! And, yes, I HAVE donated to the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MND is what we in the UK call ALS).

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a progressive wasting disease that affects the messages that are sent by the nerves in the brain and spinal cord.This means messages gradually stop reaching muscles, which leads to weakness, wasting and disability. It can affect how you talk, eat, drink, walk and breathe. There is currently no known cure for MND, and it is vastly misunderstood and under-funded in terms of research.
