Good Witch Hunting!

Halloween season is by far my absolute favourite time of the year. I love everything form the colours, the decor, the atmosphere and the scares! What better way to enjoy Halloween than getting on your broom and heading over to Death Row Designs and Petite Mort to track down some fiendish goodies!

 All the furniture and decorative items (except for the broom and pumpkin) in this picture are available for FREE from Death Row Designs during their Black Dahlia hunt. This is a hud based hunt, so when you get there you need to take the FREE hunt hud and track down the 14 Black Dahlia's that are hidden inside the store, and in the grounds and buildings around the store. Once you find the dahlia's you need to click them so that they register on your hunt hud. When you have found all 14 Dahlia's, you can then head back to the front of the store and click the sign there to receive the final prize!

              The elegantly stunning outfit Millie is wearing is available from Petite Mort's mini Trick or Treat instore hunt, where you need to track down the 5 hidden candy corn's to get your prizes. Each candy con costs $10, so the whole outfit costs just $50. Just a quick note to add, this gorgeous hair from clawtooth is also FREE instore!I have no idea why, or how long it will be free for, so go and grab it now while you still can!

Spooky Snatch...

haha, I couldnt resist having that as the title! Anyways, I just recently got done with the Pulse/ Snatch annual horror game, and wanted to share a few pics from the event with you. This game is always a treat, it fully immerses you into whatever dark and creepy scenario the very talented people behind it can come up with! The game runs usually from mid October- mid November, now the official close date for the game this year was 17th November, but I just managed to get back in to complete it, so you may still have time! Ice Bucket Challenge!

So, as you are surely aware, the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has been taking social media by storm, and if you haven't done it by now, you surely at least KNOW someone who has! I have been nominated to so this challenge, both in RL, and now in SL, by my dear friend Rudhmellowen! I haven't managed to do it in RL yet, as I haven't been feeling well and didn't fancy the idea of making it worse by dumping a bucketful of freezing cold water over my head, lol. Anyways, I have accepted Rudh's SL challenge instead, although Millie wasn't too happy about it!! And, yes, I HAVE donated to the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MND is what we in the UK call ALS).

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a progressive wasting disease that affects the messages that are sent by the nerves in the brain and spinal cord.This means messages gradually stop reaching muscles, which leads to weakness, wasting and disability. It can affect how you talk, eat, drink, walk and breathe. There is currently no known cure for MND, and it is vastly misunderstood and under-funded in terms of research.

Deliciously dark

I admit, I have been slacking as of late with blogging, but RL work has been crazy, and the kids have been hogging the computer more, so its been tough. Anyway, here's what is likely to b the first of many World Goth Fair posts. The tank dress I am wearing is by Psychotic Neko and will be available at the World Goth Fair, which opens on the 15th - ALL monies raised by Psychotic neko during the fair will go to the SOPHIE charity <3. I have accessorised the dress with lots of random things from my inventory, such as the crossbone stockings by deadpool and the winged princess headband also by deadpool. I absolutely adore these headbands, and deadpool has lots of them in all sorts of different styles, definitely worth checking out!

Escape the Horror!

So, as you are probably aware by now I have been incredibly busy working nights, and now the kids are off school with their Easter holiday, so finding time to blog is near impossible *sigh*. Anyway, I managed to escape the kids for an hour or so yesterday as they had tea out at a friends, and put this 'look' together;  made up of items from the Escape event. The Escape Event is a new and exciting event with the theme of dark role-play, from those creative geniuses behind Horror Haute. The event started on April 1st, and ran til April 9th, I am so sorry if you missed this event, but they are hoping it will become a regular event and that it will continue to grow, so watch this space! Scrub, and the song 'No Scrubs' by TLC, which was going through my head at the time, LOL. Demons and Dragons

So I don't often do 'look of the day' type posts very often, buuuut this week I was playing with some of the gatchas over at Oh My Gatcha, and was lucky enough to grab a few things I really wanted, including some of the gorgeous new Dragon's Eye ring and necklaces, as well as Death Row Designs wicked horns, that I just HAD to show to you... The outfit I'm wearing was simply what I was wearing at the time, but overall, I think the look worked out perfect- the accessories seem to pull it all together!

So, I'll let you all into a little known fact... I own lolas!!! haha, yes I do! I never thought I'd want lolas, honestly I was quite anti-lolas at one point, til a dear friend of mine (she knows who she is!!) talked me into getting them, and honestly I think, when used well they can look good! I'm very slow to catch onto 'new' things in SL, I still don't own slink hands for instance, so I don't get them out very often, but when I do I try not to over-inflate them too much, lol. The outfit I'm wearing is from one of my go-to stores, Sakide, and this time I'm wearing one of their new releases that is currently available at the Boobies Show, so off course I had to see how it looked with my lolas! That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it, anyway!

I have accessorized my outfit with the stunning Dragon's Eye ring and choker from the little bat. The ring (as well as necklaces and hair-bows) are available at Oh My Gatcha. I actually started off wearing the matching necklace to the ring, however I had a problem in that it sunk into my boobies! So, I had an idea.... and I asked Drusilla Dethly if it would be possible to make the necklace 'boobie-friendly', or if she could work the design into a choker for all us boobie-loving girls (which I guess I am too!!), and voile! She worked her magic and crafted the adorable Dragon's Eye choker that I am wearing! This choker is available at the main store, and is colour-changeable via hud.
