Welcome to the Freak Show!!

This blog post started with a coupe of cute items from last week's Fifty Linden Friday- the super cute hair by Wasabi Pills and the pj top from caboodle. I loved the top soooo much, but I wanted to mix it up and wear it with something else instead. I went to sn@tch to check out their lucky boards, and while there I remembered to pick up my VIP group gift. After hanging out at the lucky boards for a while I decided to go back home and open my VIP gift - inside was this adorable texture change skirt! My outfit was now complete, aside from a couple of accessories and a location.

I discovered this fabulous sim quite by accident the other day and immediately knew it was the right spot for my blog!

Twisted Infinity

     Life in 2217 is hard for synth-humans. They may have created us, but after the Cybernaught Wars the humans began to understand how much of a threat we could be to them. Since then we have been persecuted. Our very existence deemed a huge slur in human history. We are denied any right to life. We are outlawed and dismantled upon sight. There are but a handful of us left.

      Outwardly we appear much the same as them. It is only in our eyes that we are different. For they say the eyes are the window to the soul. But we have no soul.

(These amazing eyes are currently songbird's twisted hunt gift. Not only do they look amazing, but they are also animated and SCROLL. Unfortunately I haven't figured out vlogging yet, so I am unable to show you the animation :/ Twisted hunt runs til 31st March, get your hunting shoes on and grab these while you still can!)

     I never did understand the humans' love of bars, but here, in this bar, I can relax. For this is an underground bar, run by synth-humans, for synth-humans. There I lean against the bar, playing with my synth-wine, while the synth-barman practices his cocktail-making skills, musing on the future of my kind.

     There will be a rebellion. The few of us that remain WILL rise up and fight for our right to live alongside the humans. But for now, we must attempt to blend in amongst them. We dress like they dress and we mimic their lifestyles. We infiltrate their organisations, their security teams and their political leaders. We make plans, and we wait.

Millie's Adventures in Nowhere!

So this week I have been having fun catching up and playing the Sn@tch Nowhere annual game. If you have never played any of the sn@tch games, i suggest you have a go at this one before it is gone! The game itself is hud based- which you can purchase for free here - you then have to follow the clues through the game to the end. There are plenty of hidden gifts and scares along the way! There are three outfits I want to show you in this post, one being from before I started the game, and the other 2 being prizes form within the game.


You start off having just crashed your car and having no memory of who you are, where you are or why you are there. You then have to follow the story along, to figure it all out, picking up prizes along the way!

This place gets freakier and freakier.... and still no damn signal!

Oh hi everybody! It's been waaaay too long since I last logged into SL, and there have been lots of changes with mesh bodies and all that. I am but a simple girl, with not a lot of time on her hands, so I have to admit I prefer the simplicity of the older system bodies, but I'm sure as I get used to them I will begin to love mesh bodies as much as anyone, lol. Never say never

Hi loyal readers, I know I haven't been around much at all as of late, but having a new baby has sapped my energy and my blogging mojo, as well as my SL time. But, things are getting easier now, So I am slowly returning to business as usual! I have bought myself a small plot of land, and am starting to feel the blogging itch again! Spooky Snatch...

haha, I couldnt resist having that as the title! Anyways, I just recently got done with the Pulse/ Snatch annual horror game, and wanted to share a few pics from the event with you. This game is always a treat, it fully immerses you into whatever dark and creepy scenario the very talented people behind it can come up with! The game runs usually from mid October- mid November, now the official close date for the game this year was 17th November, but I just managed to get back in to complete it, so you may still have time! Keeping Watch

This next A Clockwork Spiral post was inspired by the Steam Outlaw outfit from The Little Bat. I accessorized the look with the smoke stacks adornment from Songbird, currently available at ACS, and decided to wear this adorable new skin from la petite mortes' fantasy range. I don't often wear fantasy type skins, but when I saw this one by la petite morte, I couldn't resist it. All together, the final look made me think of rebels during a historic battle, not part of any official army, but focussed on their own mission directives, perhaps on an alien planet not disimilair to Earth.

Escape the Horror!

So, as you are probably aware by now I have been incredibly busy working nights, and now the kids are off school with their Easter holiday, so finding time to blog is near impossible *sigh*. Anyway, I managed to escape the kids for an hour or so yesterday as they had tea out at a friends, and put this 'look' together;  made up of items from the Escape event. The Escape Event is a new and exciting event with the theme of dark role-play, from those creative geniuses behind Horror Haute. The event started on April 1st, and ran til April 9th, I am so sorry if you missed this event, but they are hoping it will become a regular event and that it will continue to grow, so watch this space!
