Keeping Watch

This next A Clockwork Spiral post was inspired by the Steam Outlaw outfit from The Little Bat. I accessorized the look with the smoke stacks adornment from Songbird, currently available at ACS, and decided to wear this adorable new skin from la petite mortes' fantasy range. I don't often wear fantasy type skins, but when I saw this one by la petite morte, I couldn't resist it. All together, the final look made me think of rebels during a historic battle, not part of any official army, but focussed on their own mission directives, perhaps on an alien planet not disimilair to Earth.

A Clockwork Spiral returns!

So, the time has come again for my favourite 'steam' event of the year, A Clockwork Spiral, brought to you by those same folks behind other successful events such as; World Goth Fair, Gothmas by Gaslight, Futurewave, and many others.. This year, the event is raising funds towards the National Kidney Foundation, and with heaps of your favourite designers, once again involved, there is bound to be something for everyone. As always, I was spoilt for choice when it came to picking something to show you from this amazing event, but I decided on this gorgeous 'Airship Princess' outfit from DG Designs. A Clockwork Spiral

So, moving away from the clowns and the carny folk for a while, this weekend in SL gives us the glorious steampunk event that is A Clockwork Spiral. This event is brought to us by those same folks behind World Goth Day, and is a shopping event hoping to raise funds for the National Kidney Foundation. There are tons of great designers with themed event exclusives available, and gatchas too! It's defo not to be missed. Even if you are low on lindens, the truly stunning sim is worth a visit, just to have a wander around and take in the scenery, or maybe pop to the Gothika airship and hang out a little, maybe have a dance and meet some cool new folks!

Millies' 52 Weeks of Randomness.

Week 2:

She was on the wrong side of town, but that was just the way she liked it. Ever since they had beaten and mutilated her and left her for dead, this had become her nightly ritual. For the 6 who beat her did not know that something other than Death had found her that night, and turned her into this monster, not alive, but not dead, unable to walk in the sun, and with a thirst for blood.

This stunning dress I am wearing has been in my inv for a long time just waiting for an excuse for me to show it to you. It had sat there waiting for me to get some inspiration for a photo, and when I won this gorgeous headpiece form the lucky board at Violent Seduction yesterday, I just KNEW they would look perfect together!

A Steam Holiday....

I simply love the level of detail that has gone into this outfit, from the black lace underskirt, to the pocket watch detailing on the collar.
