So I'm sorry I've been quiet for a while, I just haven't had the motivation to log into SL since going to Download Festival, I had such an amazing time there with my friends, I've been suffering post-Download blues I guess, lol. Anyways I'm back now. Dunno quite how long for. Got some RL drama going on right now. Pretty big stuff tbh, and major life changes might be happening shortly, which is kinda terrifying, but also exciting. Anyways, if these things do happen, then I will be away from SL, blogging anyway, for a while :/. So enjoy this while you can!

Escape the Horror!

So, as you are probably aware by now I have been incredibly busy working nights, and now the kids are off school with their Easter holiday, so finding time to blog is near impossible *sigh*. Anyway, I managed to escape the kids for an hour or so yesterday as they had tea out at a friends, and put this 'look' together;  made up of items from the Escape event. The Escape Event is a new and exciting event with the theme of dark role-play, from those creative geniuses behind Horror Haute. The event started on April 1st, and ran til April 9th, I am so sorry if you missed this event, but they are hoping it will become a regular event and that it will continue to grow, so watch this space! Brave New World

So, Futurewave is now well and truely over, and I hadn't meant to do any more Futurewave posts, however, I had these pics sitting on my computer, and inspiration just took over and I decided I would post them anyway! The gorgeous dress I am wearing is a surprise (to me) new clothing item from ellabella, and it just screamed at my inner dollie to be worn and played with. I love the beautiful cosmic texture, and the whole flow and feel of this dress. It just made me want to dance with my lil alien friend :)

In the year 3014, Cyborgs are among us. They work alongside us, adding to a depleted workforce after the Year 3000 Great War. The future is here...

and it comes in the form of the Futurewave event. This is a WEEK long event only, and we are already half way through! Brought to you by the same people behind such events as Gothmas by Gaslight and A Clockwork Spiral, this event features all your favourite goth and alternative designers, but with a focus on futuristic/ cyber-goth fashion. Sakide brings us this wonderful futuristic inspired dress, with this gorgeous digital texture available in various different colours. I love how this dress oozes futuristic post apocalyptic style. And for some reason, it reminds me of Lt. Uhura from The Original Star Trek... I have no idea why, maybe because of how short it is, lol! My skin, eyes and nails are also from Futurewave, but I have accessorised this look with some fun items from this months Collabor88, which coincidentally is also 'futuristic' themed!

It's immaterial...

I have really been struggling for inspiration lately, I think its down to being so tired with doing nights in RL at the minute, and my routine being totally messed up! Anyways, I recently received this gorgeous coat from Naenia Demina of immateria, and I have to say it is stunning! So much so that I *really* wanted to create a look around it. And what better, than a scary demon in a high fashion winter coat? Demons and Dragons

So I don't often do 'look of the day' type posts very often, buuuut this week I was playing with some of the gatchas over at Oh My Gatcha, and was lucky enough to grab a few things I really wanted, including some of the gorgeous new Dragon's Eye ring and necklaces, as well as Death Row Designs wicked horns, that I just HAD to show to you... The outfit I'm wearing was simply what I was wearing at the time, but overall, I think the look worked out perfect- the accessories seem to pull it all together!

So, I'll let you all into a little known fact... I own lolas!!! haha, yes I do! I never thought I'd want lolas, honestly I was quite anti-lolas at one point, til a dear friend of mine (she knows who she is!!) talked me into getting them, and honestly I think, when used well they can look good! I'm very slow to catch onto 'new' things in SL, I still don't own slink hands for instance, so I don't get them out very often, but when I do I try not to over-inflate them too much, lol. The outfit I'm wearing is from one of my go-to stores, Sakide, and this time I'm wearing one of their new releases that is currently available at the Boobies Show, so off course I had to see how it looked with my lolas! That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it, anyway!

I have accessorized my outfit with the stunning Dragon's Eye ring and choker from the little bat. The ring (as well as necklaces and hair-bows) are available at Oh My Gatcha. I actually started off wearing the matching necklace to the ring, however I had a problem in that it sunk into my boobies! So, I had an idea.... and I asked Drusilla Dethly if it would be possible to make the necklace 'boobie-friendly', or if she could work the design into a choker for all us boobie-loving girls (which I guess I am too!!), and voile! She worked her magic and crafted the adorable Dragon's Eye choker that I am wearing! This choker is available at the main store, and is colour-changeable via hud.

haha, yea I had meant to post this on the actual day, but I have been sooo busy in RL with family celebrations that I have only just got around to posting. Tbh, I have only just taken down our RL halloween decorations too!! We are always the first ones to put them up, and the last ones to take them down! Horror Haute loves Halloween!

This months round of Horror Haute is an extended, two weeks round in celebration of Halloween,with the general theme of Tim Burton. A lot of the stores this month have also made gatcha items as well as having regular HH items. My first 'look' is a casual everyday look, featruing clothes from The little Bat, the stunning 'This is Halloween' bag from {Witches & Rats} and tattoo from Little Pricks.

The skin I am wearing is by Pixystix and is exclusively available at Horrorfest, which started this week. In case you hadn't already heard, Horrorfest is a two week horror themed event, showcasing all the deliciously dark side of SL. Bloody Noir

I'm a bad blogger posting this dress late, and I do apologise. I've had a busy weekend with work and only just got aorund to it today. Anyway's this stunning dress was a limited edition exclusive to the 24 Event (which is now over). I could not decide whether to do a 'clean' noir shot, or a down and dirty 'bloody' shot, so I did both! Enjoy the pics!

This gorgeous skin I'm wearing is an exclusive pre-release by [VoiD], yes..... [VoiD] is re-opening!!! (if all goes well, lol). It is absolutely stunning, and the tone is simply perfect for me!! How i have missed [VoiD] skins!!!
