Just a flesh wound!

 So after a hard day fighting off hordes of the undead rampaging through Pumpkin Town, Millie arrived at the local medical centre for supplies. She had taken a beating during the battle with the undead and had lost her partner as a result. He had gotten bitten during the chaos. So after they had managed to get far enough away, she sat with him, his head in her lap until she knew he was gone and finally delivered mercy by a direct gunshot to his temple.

Although covered in blood from head to toe, Millie said to herself it wasn't her blood... mostly. Until she started feeling sick....

Til death do us part?

 Today was meant to be a very special day for Millie, one of the happiest days of her life. The day that she finally got to marry her one true love, Sid. But as Millie and Sid pulled up to the creepy abandoned... post office(?) in the middle of nowhere, she began to feel something wasn't quite right, but she couldnt put her finger on what exactly it was that was making her feel uneasy. It might have been the creepy hearse-looking horse and cart that they had arrived in. Or the oddly blood splattered wedding gown that her beloved had insisted she wear. Or even that he had insisted riding to the secret, undisclosed venue with her. I mean, wasn't seeing the bride before the ceremony meant to be bad luck? Seriously it was like a bad episode of 'Don't tell the bride'!

Goodness knows exactly WHAT happened inside the creepy old building, but it wasn't long before Millie was desperately calling her freind, Evie to come and rescue her. Luckily, as dawn was breaking, Evie hurried to the rescue on her magnificent bat. Better not question what the heck happened to Millie's face though, ok?

At the movies.

 Hey gothlings, I've been busy the last week or so getting organised for my first-borns birthday, so not had a lot of SL time, other than to shop and log lol! Anyway, I finally got around to going through my boxes. And here's what I got. An amazing 'star sign' cropped top from Psycho Barbie, from last week's The Saturday Sale, which I paired with these gorgeous Carly shorts from epoch. These were in The Saturday Sale this week. I am also wearing these amazing zombie bunnie stomper boots from epic, also available at The Saturday Sale- but hurry as there's not much time left now. What better thing is there to do when the nights are drawig in and the evenings getting cooler, other than to grab a owl of popcorn and watch a scary movie! Autumnal vibes

 Hey gothlings, so this weekend has been the first weekend where it's begun to start feeling a lil more chilly and there's definately a touch of Autumn in the air and I have even been Halloween shopping already in RL! When I saw this beautiful dress from Cosmic Dust out for FLF over the weekend, I just coudnt help but snatch it up! I love its halloweeny vibe and I can totally get the 'wear black or stay naked' vibe in my RL hahaha. I managed to grab the boots from Demon Doll during The Saturday Sale, as well as the ever so cute batty backpack, which is from Cult. The nails were also a steal from Dark Passions: Koffin Nails over the weekend. Sadly many of these offers are likely gone now, but if you love the teepee and the pumpkin cart- they are both gifts from Hive!

Trick or Treat!!

Pumpkin Town is open once again!! This is an annual halloween themed village, featuring witches, zombies, skeletons and monster's of all kinds... oh my!!

This village has returned for it's 7th consecutive year, with more DJ's, show's, live performances and even a movie theatre featuring classic horror movies. As well as all this going on, you'll be forgiven for forgetting that there's also a hunt AND lots of shopping to do, with donations going towards Feed a Smile, ensuring that starving children in Kenya receive nutritious, warm meals every day.

Good Witch Hunting!

Halloween season is by far my absolute favourite time of the year. I love everything form the colours, the decor, the atmosphere and the scares! What better way to enjoy Halloween than getting on your broom and heading over to Death Row Designs and Petite Mort to track down some fiendish goodies!

 All the furniture and decorative items (except for the broom and pumpkin) in this picture are available for FREE from Death Row Designs during their Black Dahlia hunt. This is a hud based hunt, so when you get there you need to take the FREE hunt hud and track down the 14 Black Dahlia's that are hidden inside the store, and in the grounds and buildings around the store. Once you find the dahlia's you need to click them so that they register on your hunt hud. When you have found all 14 Dahlia's, you can then head back to the front of the store and click the sign there to receive the final prize!

              The elegantly stunning outfit Millie is wearing is available from Petite Mort's mini Trick or Treat instore hunt, where you need to track down the 5 hidden candy corn's to get your prizes. Each candy con costs $10, so the whole outfit costs just $50. Happy Halloween!!

So its been a manic few days here in RL, I'm back working nights and in between work, sleep and trying to get organised for Halloween, I haven't had a minute!!! I am currently writing this in-between feeding the cat, eating my tea, shortly before picking my daughter up from her cheer session, dropping her off at her friends' party, and heading off to work again!!! Anyway, this blog was inspired by one of the new releases from Blue Blood, the Sacred dress. It is available in a multitude of various colours, but as it is Halloween, I have chosen to show you the Halloween version, which I think is absolutely gorgeous!! Note: This version is ONLY available at the Creepy Cute Carnival, and will not be available after the event is over!

 I also want to draw your attention to the hair I'm wearing - its from Alice Project, who are currently having their annual Halloween massacre sale/ reward event. Everyday, the lovely Alice Demonia places out a new gift hair for VIP group members, and an additional gift hair for everyone. It's beginning to look a lot like.....

Halloween!!! I'm getting -so- excited now in RL its crazy, I'm like a kid at Christmas when it comes to Halloween! The dec's are up already, although I think my new neighbours think I'm a bit weird for that, but hey :) And the kids are off school next week, so cue tons of happy Halloween baking with them, I cant wait! Anyway, Halloween is also a busy time of year in SL, and {frick} is back with their annual Halloween dollarbie hunt.
