Just a Basic Witch

 

Hey gothlings, sorry this is a late posting from me, I have just gone back to work after shielding and my RL has got a little busier than it was, as well as my mental health not being great due to changes at work while I was away.... ughhh. Season of the Witch

Hi Gothlings! You know, it's funny how when you start a blog post and you have a general idea in mind of what you want to do, then as you start going through your inventory and putting things together it organically takes on a whole new idea. Well this is what happened here. I was planning for a wholly different look/ theme, then as I wandered Ostara's alter and started collecting up their delightful little hunt gifts (sorry I think this event is now over), this whole other look began to emerge. I had intended for this to be a cute Springy post, but after finding this beautiful eye-patch from Arachnes Garden (which I love so much, I might never take off again! lol) and these adorable shoes from Sadistic Obsession, I just HAD to buy this gorgeous little black dress from Oubliette to go with them! Or... alternatively I could have been wearing nothing BUT the eye-patch and shoes! I guess that would probably have helped my flickr numbers and blog views a LOT! lol.

Trick or Treat!!

Pumpkin Town is open once again!! This is an annual halloween themed village, featuring witches, zombies, skeletons and monster's of all kinds... oh my!!

This village has returned for it's 7th consecutive year, with more DJ's, show's, live performances and even a movie theatre featuring classic horror movies. As well as all this going on, you'll be forgiven for forgetting that there's also a hunt AND lots of shopping to do, with donations going towards Feed a Smile, ensuring that starving children in Kenya receive nutritious, warm meals every day.

Good Witch Hunting!

Halloween season is by far my absolute favourite time of the year. I love everything form the colours, the decor, the atmosphere and the scares! What better way to enjoy Halloween than getting on your broom and heading over to Death Row Designs and Petite Mort to track down some fiendish goodies!

 All the furniture and decorative items (except for the broom and pumpkin) in this picture are available for FREE from Death Row Designs during their Black Dahlia hunt. This is a hud based hunt, so when you get there you need to take the FREE hunt hud and track down the 14 Black Dahlia's that are hidden inside the store, and in the grounds and buildings around the store. Once you find the dahlia's you need to click them so that they register on your hunt hud. When you have found all 14 Dahlia's, you can then head back to the front of the store and click the sign there to receive the final prize!

              The elegantly stunning outfit Millie is wearing is available from Petite Mort's mini Trick or Treat instore hunt, where you need to track down the 5 hidden candy corn's to get your prizes. Each candy con costs $10, so the whole outfit costs just $50. It's Witchcraft

So Blue Blood is back, in a new location (I think I gave you the new slurl last time, but I'll give it again this time), and with a gorgeous new release. 'Coven' is, as you can tell by the name, an outfit fit for any witch. This stunning outfit is all mesh, and is available in all Ghanis' usual colours, but I have chosen to show you the black version. I simply love the detailed texturing on this outfit, Ghani has outdone herself as always <3
