 Hey gothlings, many of you will know by now that the SL alternative icon that is Sn@tch is back! For many of us, Sn@tch was the first -and best- alternative clothing store we ever needed. And I am super happy and excited to have been accepted onto their blogging team! So, without further ado, let me show you this beautiful dress/ romper that is currently available in one of the Riot Vendors. Do you remember those crazy hazy days, before social disctancing was a thing and you could grab 50 of your closest friends to rub up on the vendors to make the price hit rockbottom? Well Sn@tch has alway s had the BEST things in theirs! And this dress is no exception. It comes in 20 colours and no less than ELEVEN body sizes! Now if that isn't value for money, I don't know what isnt! And while you're there, don't forget to try your luck on the lucky boards, or even do a spot of fishing!

It's (still) a lockdown life

 Hi gothlings, so it's been a year (and some days) since we first entered into lockdown here in the UK. And we have effectively been in lockdown for the last 4 months. Infection numbers seem to be finally falling and the vaccination programme is well under way. I've had my first jab and my second is due next week! Things are slowly starting to open back up. Schools are back open (yay!) Non-essential retail and pubs are reopening soon, with restrictions in place. Things are beginning to look .... hopeful. Which is just as well, because although I generally do enjoy my own company, I cant wait to be able to see friends again and just go for coffee! There is only so much netflix, face-timing and living room parties you can do tbh! I mean, even Millie is getting bored with it all and has clearly turned to drink! Oh no! It looks like she's finally pulled out the fancy wine that she was saving for a special occassion! At least she's got dressed up for it though!

Polar Prom

 Hey gothlings, so at the weekend I finally got to hang with *other people* as I was invited to a prom by a friend of mine, Arya Mcleod. I really am trying to make more friends this time around in SL. So it was nice to get dressed up for an event, rather than just to blog! Fun in the snow!

Hey gothlings, so in RL I cant stand the snow as I hate being cold. But in SL, the snow is just sooo pretty to look at, and you dont feel the cold. Merry Zombie Christmas!

 Hey Gothlings, are you all ready for Gothmas yet? Hahaha, neither am I! Doesn't help that I've just had to self-isolate for 2 weeks due to a work colleague testing positive for Covid :'( Luckily she's OK and has gone back to work and my isolation ended today! Wewt wewt! So, I wanted to do a *cute* Christmas pic with some of the cute Christmas stuff that's available right now. But you know me, I cant just do *cute* lol. I had to make it a lil darker!  Hey gothlings, I've been busy the last week or so getting organised for my first-borns birthday, so not had a lot of SL time, other than to shop and log lol! Anyway, I finally got around to going through my boxes. And here's what I got. An amazing 'star sign' cropped top from Psycho Barbie, from last week's The Saturday Sale, which I paired with these gorgeous Carly shorts from epoch. These were in The Saturday Sale this week. I am also wearing these amazing zombie bunnie stomper boots from epic, also available at The Saturday Sale- but hurry as there's not much time left now. What better thing is there to do when the nights are drawig in and the evenings getting cooler, other than to grab a owl of popcorn and watch a scary movie! The day I left.

 Hey gotlhings, so the last few days/ week has been pretty busy and hard for me. It's my first born's 18th birthday next week and we just got news that our area is going into a localised lockdown. Which means we're back to not being allowed to mix with other households, either outdoors or indoors. I've been planning my daughter's 18th for like the last year and have had to cancel our inital plans and make new ones, then adjust these to fit the current situation. And now we have to change them again. It's made it hard for me to concentrate on blogging, but anyways! At least that's something I can do from home, right? 

Here is an adorable dress from 1313 Mockingbird Lane that I absolutely love and simply had to show you. This is a classic 50's style dress along with matching shoes, also from 1313 Mockingbird Lane. The outfit alone blogs itself its so gorgeous! But, then I saw this eye nake-up from This is Wrong, that was on sale last weekend which I also had to get. The make-up is called 'I won'. And for me, as I'm sure plenty of others out there who may even be reading this blog, it made me think of personal RL experiences. This pandemic is a hard situstion for us all, especially those who may be in volatile relationships, effectively locked in with their abusive partner. Please, if this is you, get out, seek help. Don't leave it too late <3

Autumnal vibes

 Hey gothlings, so this weekend has been the first weekend where it's begun to start feeling a lil more chilly and there's definately a touch of Autumn in the air and I have even been Halloween shopping already in RL! When I saw this beautiful dress from Cosmic Dust out for FLF over the weekend, I just coudnt help but snatch it up! I love its halloweeny vibe and I can totally get the 'wear black or stay naked' vibe in my RL hahaha. I managed to grab the boots from Demon Doll during The Saturday Sale, as well as the ever so cute batty backpack, which is from Cult. The nails were also a steal from Dark Passions: Koffin Nails over the weekend. Sadly many of these offers are likely gone now, but if you love the teepee and the pumpkin cart- they are both gifts from Hive!

It's a matter of Pride

So hey Gothlings, this month also happens to be Pride month. A time of year where anyone who falls under the LGBQT+ umbrella get to celebrate their sexuality whilst also attempting to engage with straight folks and break down some of the myths and boundaries around the LGBQT+ community. Throughout the month there are tons of events on in SL celebrating Pride month and lots of creators are offering some fabulous gifts. Here are some of my favourite's.
