Twisted Infinity

     Life in 2217 is hard for synth-humans. They may have created us, but after the Cybernaught Wars the humans began to understand how much of a threat we could be to them. Since then we have been persecuted. Our very existence deemed a huge slur in human history. We are denied any right to life. We are outlawed and dismantled upon sight. There are but a handful of us left.

      Outwardly we appear much the same as them. It is only in our eyes that we are different. For they say the eyes are the window to the soul. But we have no soul.

(These amazing eyes are currently songbird's twisted hunt gift. Not only do they look amazing, but they are also animated and SCROLL. Unfortunately I haven't figured out vlogging yet, so I am unable to show you the animation :/ Twisted hunt runs til 31st March, get your hunting shoes on and grab these while you still can!)

     I never did understand the humans' love of bars, but here, in this bar, I can relax. For this is an underground bar, run by synth-humans, for synth-humans. There I lean against the bar, playing with my synth-wine, while the synth-barman practices his cocktail-making skills, musing on the future of my kind.

     There will be a rebellion. The few of us that remain WILL rise up and fight for our right to live alongside the humans. But for now, we must attempt to blend in amongst them. We dress like they dress and we mimic their lifestyles. We infiltrate their organisations, their security teams and their political leaders. We make plans, and we wait.

Trick or Treat!!

Pumpkin Town is open once again!! This is an annual halloween themed village, featuring witches, zombies, skeletons and monster's of all kinds... oh my!!

This village has returned for it's 7th consecutive year, with more DJ's, show's, live performances and even a movie theatre featuring classic horror movies. As well as all this going on, you'll be forgiven for forgetting that there's also a hunt AND lots of shopping to do, with donations going towards Feed a Smile, ensuring that starving children in Kenya receive nutritious, warm meals every day.

It's beginning to look a lot like.....

Halloween!!! I'm getting -so- excited now in RL its crazy, I'm like a kid at Christmas when it comes to Halloween! The dec's are up already, although I think my new neighbours think I'm a bit weird for that, but hey :) And the kids are off school next week, so cue tons of happy Halloween baking with them, I cant wait! Anyway, Halloween is also a busy time of year in SL, and {frick} is back with their annual Halloween dollarbie hunt. To colour or not?

So Death Rocker Betty Crocker recently released some gorgeous and fun dresses that I wanted to share with you. These are the boheme tunics, they are available in various different textures, but one of my favourites is the Hot Lips version. I love its bright, kitsch textures and it just screamed at me to blog it. But, I asked myself how and in what context should I blog it? So, struggling for ideas, I forgot about it for a while and decided to work on Berry's recent Monday meme of 'black & white portraits'. Now, ordinarily, a black and white photo reminds me of the classic 1920's era, and I really thought I was going to do something along those lines, when... bam! I decided why not use the dress that I had already shot? And here it is..

Halloween is creeping ever closer...

And as Halloween is my favourite time of the year, I wanted to show you a few more goodies from Total Anarchy and other fun things going on right now :) The dress I am wearing is from pixystix, and is their offering for Total Anarchy this month, priced at L$66, this is a perfect dress to wear to all those Halloween parties that are happening all over the grid. I love the oh so bright colour of it, and how it is decorated with bats, such a fun and sexy dress!

More Anarchy...

There was so much good stuff in Total Anarchy this month that I wanted to show you a couple more... Fallen Elegance

Twisted Evil Clown from Outer Space goes to the Circus!

hahaha, please excuse the loooong title for this post.... but when one of my newest, dear friend's first saw me wearing this outfit, that is what she said I looked like, so I figured it would be a perfect title!

Time to get Twisted!!

That's right, its my absolute favourite time of the year (second only to Halloween!!!) - that time when the infamous Twisted hunt comes to town, and this time its' theme is Carnival - which has had me giddy like a kid at Chrsitmas ever since I was given a sneak-peeky at the hunt theme, hehe!!! For those of you new to the Twisted Hunt... it is not called Twisted for the sake of it- it is one of the hardest hunts in SL! With boxes craftily hidden and many tricks and decoys to throw you off the scent! But it also boasts many talented designers who truely go 'all out' with their gifts, so it is indeed worth the headache!! The best advice I can offer is, join the Twisted Hunt group in world- that's where the only hints available can be found!! Lil Twisted preview...

As you may, or may not be aware (how??!) the now infamous Twisted hunt is returning in September for it's 10th outing!! With a theme which is RIGHT up my street- carnival!!! I am sooo excited for this! Sredni Eel (of Avatar Bizarre) very kindly sent me their hunt gift to preview. Their gift is a part mesh Mad Hatter outfit, which is highly detailed and skilfully put together, well worth the (probable) hour or so it will take to locate the pesky lil box it will be hidden in, and includes the hat I'm wearing too.

You can't see very well from this picture, but I am also wearing a new release from horribabules- these kooky wooden teethm which I love! These teeth are animated and features small drips of blood coming form them! Here's a closer picture:
