Happy Halloween!!

So its been a manic few days here in RL, I'm back working nights and in between work, sleep and trying to get organised for Halloween, I haven't had a minute!!! I am currently writing this in-between feeding the cat, eating my tea, shortly before picking my daughter up from her cheer session, dropping her off at her friends' party, and heading off to work again!!! Anyway, this blog was inspired by one of the new releases from Blue Blood, the Sacred dress. It is available in a multitude of various colours, but as it is Halloween, I have chosen to show you the Halloween version, which I think is absolutely gorgeous!! Note: This version is ONLY available at the Creepy Cute Carnival, and will not be available after the event is over!

 I also want to draw your attention to the hair I'm wearing - its from Alice Project, who are currently having their annual Halloween massacre sale/ reward event. Everyday, the lovely Alice Demonia places out a new gift hair for VIP group members, and an additional gift hair for everyone. Zombie Burlesque

You remember I told you there were soooo many awesome things in this round of Horror Haute, well heres my second post featuring the amazing zombie burlesque dress from bad juju, which I absolutely LOVE! I have accessorised this look with a few simple pieces that I love... the hair-pin from bubble, ear plugs by nox and my favourite nommy by forsaken. I am also wearing tattoos from reckless and love zombie, the latter of which was also out for Horror Haute; and shoes from venomous rage designs which were availlabe for L$50 at this week's Woeful Wednesday- if you love dark, horror or even zombie, goth fashion at a reduced price you must check out Woeful Wednesday, if you haven't already!

Escape the Horror!

So, as you are probably aware by now I have been incredibly busy working nights, and now the kids are off school with their Easter holiday, so finding time to blog is near impossible *sigh*. Anyway, I managed to escape the kids for an hour or so yesterday as they had tea out at a friends, and put this 'look' together;  made up of items from the Escape event. The Escape Event is a new and exciting event with the theme of dark role-play, from those creative geniuses behind Horror Haute. The event started on April 1st, and ran til April 9th, I am so sorry if you missed this event, but they are hoping it will become a regular event and that it will continue to grow, so watch this space! Here's to a horrific New Year!!

Make sure you check out this months round of Horror Haute for a deliciously horrific start to the New Year. A couple of things caught my eye, but I particularly liked this dress from Tasty Pudding, which I paired with the Muertos heels from The Little Bat. The gorgeous screen behind me is also included in this round of Horror Haute, and is by Inspired Designs. One Last Waltz

This month's Horror Haute is Lovecraft themed, and as always there are some beautiful items available, one of which being this gorgeous dress from immateria. However it wasn't Lovecraft that came to mind when I put  this dress on, as all I could think of, over and over was this famous quote from Edgar Allen Poe "And so being young and dipped in folly, I fell in love with melancholy", and so the idea of a mounrful last waltz came to mind.

Also, this is my first time trying out my lolas!! I'm not too sure I lined em up right, but they look OK. I finally caved and decided to get my own, but I like to think I havent gone overboard with them, please feel free to let me know what you think... do they look alright? Thanks!

haha, yea I had meant to post this on the actual day, but I have been sooo busy in RL with family celebrations that I have only just got around to posting. Horror Haute loves Halloween!

This months round of Horror Haute is an extended, two weeks round in celebration of Halloween,with the general theme of Tim Burton. A lot of the stores this month have also made gatcha items as well as having regular HH items. My first 'look' is a casual everyday look, featruing clothes from The little Bat, the stunning 'This is Halloween' bag from {Witches & Rats} and tattoo from Little Pricks.

The skin I am wearing is by Pixystix and is exclusively available at Horrorfest, which started this week. In case you hadn't already heard, Horrorfest is a two week horror themed event, showcasing all the deliciously dark side of SL.
