The Enchanted Garden

 

    Hey gothlings, I wanted to take this time to show you this stunning Penta Corset from Sternberg. This version I am wearing is the 'Pride' version- I simply love how that extra dash of colour really adds to the overall style of this corset, which is fully customisable via HUD. What truly makes this corset standout though is the intricate lace detailing on the back! Although I found it notoriously difficult to style due to the very nature of how a corset is rigged. I did find that this amazing top from Nanika and skirt by [G-Shot] did the trick! And, for some reason it made me want to head out into the gardens to frolick with my unicorn.

Legend of the Cyberfae

Hey gothlings, somewhere in a cyber dystopian future there will probably be Cyberfaes, just hanging out, drinking soft drinks and waiting for thier mates to come out and play in the water fountains. And they'll probably dress like this. Well, if this last 12 months have proved, anything could happen, right?

Here Millie is wearing an awesome neon ensemble, featuring the leather dress from Sixx. And accessorised with neon wings, cross neon bindi, neon outline and also the versatile Venom piercing set all also from Sixx. It includes eyebrow spikes, septum ring, lower lip stud and all 3 lip rings, all come as individual attachments, so you can wear them anyway you want. I have slightly rotated the lip rings in this post.

Time for tea?

 This years Home and Garden Expo is well and truly underway, and I'm honoured to have been accepted to be a part of it. The Expo is HUGE, it covers 9 sims, with a SLEW of fabulous content available to browse and buy. As a Relay for Life event many of these items also donate to the American Cancer Society. The American Cancer Society has been active within SL for 15 years and has contributed close to $3.6 million via Relay for Life events in SL such as the Home and Garden Expo, Fantasy Faire, Christmas Expo and the Sci-fi Expo. As well as this, the ACS maintain a presence within SL providing services via inworld information portals, cancer survivor support groups and cancer care giver support groups at their inworld location Hope Haven. So, make sure you visit and have plenty of time to peruse everything that is on offer. There are many fabulous items on sale and there is even a hunt ongoing that many of the designers have contributed to.

My New Shiny

I don't often 'do' Fantasy, although it is a genre I enjoy I don't feel its a genre I'm particularly good at portraying, however I always like a challenge and to try new things, so when Fantasy Faire rolled around this time and announced their blogger challenges, i knew that i wanted to do at least one of them if I could. So here, is 'My New Shiny'. The challenge was simply to find something you like for a store previously unknown to yourself and blog it. For this challenge, I chose to buy the gorgeous and beautifully crafted Sumiana crown by a i s l i n g. a i s l i n g is a store that I have never come across in my SL travels before, however when it came to finding something dramatic and in theme with my overall look for this blog post, the Sumiana crown was perfect. I was almost tempted to cover myself in bruises and blood, but decided to opt for a 'clean' look this time!

Worn with this gorgeous crown is the equally stunning Maestitia gown by sakide, which is one of their RFL donation items at the event, make-up from pin me down and the necklace from LNS.

Swamp Fairy

I want to take this opportunity to wish a great big Happy St Patrick's Day to all my Irish readers out there (do I have any Irish readers?? lol). Anyway's, as usual in SL there is a fun event ongoing to help you celebrate this special day and to help you look the part for any SL St. Pat's Day parties you may be going to, and that is the Luck of The Irish Fair. Horror Haute July

Its that time of the month again when Horror Haute rolls round. For some reason this time it took me a while to create a look that I was happy with. First, I knew what accessories I was going to use, and even thought I knew what skin I wanted to use, but then I did not know what clothes I was going to wear with them... then I found an outfit that spoke to me and matched the accessories, but the skin wasn't quite what I was looking for, so I switched that out and was finally happy!
